Background Information on Petco Petroleum owned by Trustee Jay Bergman
Read the Petition | Sign the Petition | View the Signers | Help Spread the Petition

Jay Bergman is the owner of Petco Petroleum, which has committed numerous infringements of environmental regulations in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Mr. Bergman's transgressions against the environment and citizens of Illinois make him a poor choice for Illinois State University's Board of Trustees.

Concerned students at Illinois State University recognize that we need responsible leaders in Illinois. Please sign the petition to the Governor of Illinois, calling for the removal of Jay Bergman from the Board of Trustees. Governor Blagojevich is responsible for appointing board members to state universities and with your help we can influence him not to re-appoint Mr. Bergman.
